& corrections.

ReadyBoatGo brings planning information together. Each source has a different purpose, date and level of coverage. A recent retrieval does not make an old observation new.

Harbours and shore stops

Harbour search combines 41 featured locations with World Port Index and OpenStreetMap entries. The legacy World Port Index source is dated December 2019. A directory entry does not establish a safe entrance, available berth or current harbour service.

Shore stops use named OpenStreetMap places, UK Food Standards Agency establishments and the Overture Maps Places snapshot from 22 July 2026. Every listing is within 2 km of its harbour reference point. Distances are measured from the original coordinates before rounding. They do not establish a walking route, available berth or public access.

We select food, cafés, ice cream, groceries and boat-supply categories. Missing coordinates, masked addresses and unsuitable business types are excluded. Overture places must have a confidence score of at least 0.8 and must not be marked temporarily or permanently closed. A source confidence score is not a guarantee of current operation. Matching names within 60 metres are grouped, with their source references retained; some duplicates and missing businesses may remain.

The FSA source file is dated 8 September 2026. Source update dates and snapshot dates are retained for each record. We do not display food-hygiene scores as an endorsement or as an indication that a venue is open.

Place data attribution and licences

© OpenStreetMap contributors. Our combined derived directory is offered under the Open Database Licence. Contains Food Standards Agency information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The shore explorer provides a download for every covered harbour.

Overture Maps includes data from Meta, Microsoft, PinMeTo, Krick, RenderSEO, DAC and BrightQuery under CDLA Permissive 2.0, AllThePlaces under CC0, and Foursquare under Apache 2.0. See the full Foursquare notice and Overture attribution register. Only contributors present in a listing appear in its source records.

ReadyBoatGo selects categories, filters by harbour distance, combines matching identities and calculates distances. These transformations were made on 10 September 2026. No provider endorses ReadyBoatGo or its planning suggestions.

Weather and tide information

Open-Meteo supplies weather and marine model estimates. A modelled sea-level curve is not a harbour tide table or a measured tidal height. Station predictions and local tidal-gate calculations are labelled separately where available. Use official charts, tide tables, notices and local advice for navigation.

Marine fuel prices

Supplier pages currently provide prices for Boatworks Castle Emplacement and QE2 MarinaandCowes Harbour Fuel Berth. Check times describe retrieval from those pages. Saved quotes retain their original date.

The comparison includes recorded stations within 5 km of the selected harbour. Lowest-price highlights require at least two quotes checked within 24 hours, with matching fuel, currency, unit and duty basis. Fill totals exclude the cost of getting to the station. Confirm the actual price, access and fuel suitability with the supplier.

Corrections and personal notes

Use the source links beside a place to check the original record and report corrections to the relevant provider. Use the supplier link to verify or query a fuel price. Saved trips, vessel settings, checklists and personal fuel notes stay on your device. They are separate from published supplier quotes. Personal fuel notes are not used to rank stations.

Historical records

Dated source snapshots are retained so changes can be checked without replacing their earlier evidence. Forecast retrieval times, forecast valid times and supplier check times remain distinct. Historical coverage is limited to the sources collected; a missing value is not zero.
